The longer I live in this world, the less passionate that I become about it. It is kind of ironic that one can become more Spiritual in one sense while losing "spirit" in the other. I'm not sure that all of this is a good thing.
I'm a 34 year old transplanted Michigander living in North Carolina. I'm learning to appreciate things like Cheerwine, "real" barbecue, and the fact that cars in the South don't come with turn signals (I SWEAR to you, they don't).
In turn, I'm trying to share my love for Detroit Red Wings hockey (or at least help them to appreciate the local Carolina Hurricanes), my Northernly sarcasm and cynicism, and my view of life being a regular (HA!!) guy who happens to have been born with Spina Bifida and uses a wheelchair to get around and who ALSO recently became and amputee after losing most of my left leg due to a bone infection
